Why a small gutter leak matters
A gutter that drips at one joint soaks the same patch of brickwork every time it rains. Over a winter that means damp inside, spalled bricks, rotten fascias and, on London terraces, water running into the neighbour's wall. Fixing the gutter early is a small job; fixing what it causes is not.
Repairs first
Most gutter problems are blocked outlets, failed joint seals or brackets that have dropped so the run no longer falls to the downpipe. We clear the gutter, reseal the joints, refix the brackets and water-test the run. You only pay for new guttering when the old run is beyond repair.

When the gutter, fascia and soffit have all had their day, we replace them together: rotten timber out, uPVC fascias, soffits and bargeboards on, and a new gutter run and downpipes, with a 10-year guarantee on fascias, soffits and gutters.

Can you replace fascias at the same time?
Yes. If the fascia behind the gutter is rotten we replace it with uPVC fascias and soffits in the same visit, with a 10-year guarantee.
Do you clear blocked gutters?
Yes. We clear gutters, valleys and outlets, and check the roof edge while we are up there.
